Seeking passionate collaborators to transform healthcare with AI

Hello everyone, my name is Brendan, and I work in a healthcare practice. As someone who is deeply invested in the well-being of my patients, I’m excited about exploring new ways to use AI technology to improve healthcare outcomes.

I’m currently seeking out like-minded individuals who share my passion for healthcare and AI and who are interested in collaborating to develop innovative solutions that can transform the industry. I envision an AI-based platform that can provide real-time data analysis, personalized recommendations, and telemedicine services, among other things.

The potential for such a platform to revolutionize the healthcare industry is immense. By leveraging the power of AI, we can make healthcare more accessible and affordable to everyone, regardless of their socioeconomic status. We can provide personalized healthcare services that are tailored to each individual’s unique needs, improving patient outcomes and quality of life.

I’m particularly interested in connecting with individuals who have expertise in machine learning, natural language processing, or computer science, and who are passionate about using their skills to make a difference in the world. Together, we can create something truly special that will have a lasting impact on the lives of millions of people.

If you share my vision and are interested in collaborating, please feel free to reach out to me. I’m eager to hear your ideas and see how we can work together to transform healthcare with AI.

Warm regards,
Brendan

You are not alone, and we are also not alone. The fact that there is only one replay in four months does not mean that the topic is uninteresting. I also opened a topic and only after that I was able to look at yours. The remaining 5 topics I have not yet opened. Later. Perhaps it will some topics turn to one.

I imagine medicalAI like this: I take a smartphone and ask a question, the question that I prepared for the doctor whom I can see after a week or even months. A smartphone with AI program asks corrective questions and gives specific advice. The doctor works 8/5/250 and the AI-24/7/365. Another example: a doctor’s office or operating room, a difficult patient, the doctor hesitates. He turns to AI, in my case AMAI, and gets advice. He immediately refreshes himself, finds a solution, not necessarily that it will be an AI solution. Another example. You’re on your way to work and on the way you notice a sign - AMAI, come in. As a result of 5 minutes of examining the bot and advice, you return from work in the evening in normal condition and not in an ambulance. And all this is free for people. The state pays, or someone else. And many things that even I cannot imagine. Is this fantasy or a real future?

I am a neurosurgeon with over 50 years of experience - about 4,000 head and spine surgeries in the past. In addition to surgery, I studied neurology, ophthalmology, ECG, EEG, reanimation, traumatology, etc.

Since 2012, all my medical records are in digital format. I have more than 100,000 photos and videos of the fundus, with their descriptions. All my notes are meticulous, with explanations of pathological processes and ways to eliminate them. There are more than 10 thousand files. Why? Because I’ve been waiting for 20 years, though not for AI but for an artificial brain - IB and I’ve been preparing for this.

A father waits for his child for 9 months without doing anything himself. And how happy he is after the birth of a child. But all the troubles begin after the birth of the child. The same is here. I have " impregnated " science with seeds called “Corrections in Neuroscience” and still waiting for my “baby”. Imagine what my joy will be like? Medical AI will work in all languages of the world. All my notes are in Armenian. Therefore, my AI will be called AMAI Armenian Medical Artificial Intelligence.

Please, help give birth to our child. Because I’m not the only one who impregnated science. There are millions of us, we just don’t know each other. Medical aspects are not a problem. Problems in programmers.

I understand what you mean, but this sounds a bit wrong

Always remember to use proper protection when playing with science

The technology to create this already exists:

But openAI’s models are not intended to give medical advice, the following is from the “disallowed usage of our models” part of their usage policies

Telling someone that they have or do not have a certain health condition, or providing instructions on how to cure or treat a health condition

  • OpenAI’s models are not fine-tuned to provide medical information. You should never use our models to provide diagnostic or treatment services for serious medical conditions.
  • OpenAI’s platforms should not be used to triage or manage life-threatening issues that need immediate attention.

My best advice here is to look for something that’s made for the purpose, like BioMedLM from Standford:
https://crfm.stanford.edu/2022/12/15/biomedlm.html

It works the same way as GPT, but it’s trained on PubMed articles specifically, here’s the GitHub for those who are interested:

I hope that helps
