Hopefully this is a TTS model that API could enjoy, and we can see more of it, but it is so emotive, not even with instructions placed, I suspect cost-prohibitive gpt-4o is being run by the “speech” button for this guy.

Whats the name of that voice model? in the playground its not listed as santa. Is it available via API and Python? I’d like to generate some personalized
Chrismas greetings.

“Santa” it is voice select on GPT AVM.

No clue if they released it to API, on GPT it is just a voice bot.
But I doubt it is going to API imo.

The URL of the backend request has voice=straw.

It doesn’t respond to behavior text, it will just carry on in the same tone despite some inline bracketed commands telling how to act or recite, which is similar to the TTS model behavior. However, the voice will mirror the storytelling instead of just being non-emotive throughout, even giving an affect to character voices. :strawberry: :egg: :interrobang:
