Woah, holy HIPAA, dude! The API in no way keeps the records local to the user’s computer. It’s just another query to GPT except through an alternate interface to a web browser.
You need to be running your language model within your firewall!!!
Either that, or have a solid way to deidentify the record, but that’s not trivial, and the finished product would still need to be vetted by your institution’s health IT and privacy people.
