Dear OpenAI Team,
I truly appreciate the work you’ve done with ChatGPT—it has been a valuable tool for learning and productivity. However, I would love to see an important feature added in future updates: interactive elements like clickable blanks and fillable fields.
As a student, I often use ChatGPT to practice exercises, but currently, I have to manually type my answers instead of filling them in directly within the response. If there were interactive fields where I could simply click and type my answers, it would make learning more engaging and efficient.
This feature would be especially useful for educational exercises, quizzes, and practice tests. Many students like me would greatly benefit from this addition, and I believe it would make ChatGPT an even more powerful tool for education.
I hope you consider this request for future versions. Thank you for continuously improving ChatGPT and making learning more accessible!
Best regards,
[Raihan Sangin]

I actually really like this idea. making the individual messages/replies more interactive could be useful for many scenarios. Here’s a few i can think of:
1. Coding & Development
- Live code editing: ChatGPT could generate code with fillable placeholders, allowing users to tweak variables without rewriting entire blocks.
- Auto-fill function parameters: When asking for code snippets, users could interactively set input values before execution.
2. Productivity & Workflow Automation
- Form completion & templates: Users could quickly fill in fields for emails, contracts, or reports.
- Checklists & to-do lists: ChatGPT could create interactive checkboxes that users tick off while working.
3. AI-Assisted Writing
- Mad Libs-style creative writing: Users could fill in prompts interactively for storytelling, poetry, or brainstorming.
- Grammar correction & rewriting: Clickable text suggestions for fixing errors or rewording sentences.
4. Learning & Training
- Flashcards & quizzes: ChatGPT could create fill-in-the-blank questions, improving engagement.
- Language learning: Users could guess words or sentence structures, making lessons more interactive.
5. Business & Finance
- Budgeting & financial planning: Users could interactively adjust values (e.g., income, expenses) in a suggested budget.
- Project management: Fillable task fields for planning workflows, tracking progress, or delegating responsibilities.
6. Customer Support & FAQs
- Dynamic troubleshooting: Users could click through interactive decision trees to get tailored solutions.
- Live form filling: Instead of copying responses, ChatGPT could generate pre-filled fields for support tickets or applications.
This feature would drastically improve usability and engagement in many areas. This is worth looking into OpenAI if you’re not already doing it!
