Hello, I would like to suggest an intermediate individual subscription option between ChatGPT Plus and Pro, particularly for users who rely heavily on image generation.
I am a Plus subscriber and use ChatGPT extensively for image generation and iterative visual projects. Plus was generally sufficient for my former ChatGPT usage, but I now regularly reach the image-generation quota almost everyday and have to wait 10 to 12 hours each time to resume my work.
The problem is that the next meaningful step is Pro, which costs well over €100 per month in Europe and provides roughly 5 times the capacity of Plus. That is a very large jump in both usage allowance and price.
I would be very interested in an intermediate option offering approximately 2× the Plus image-generation quota, at a correspondingly moderate price.
For example, this could take the form of:
-
a Plus-level subscription with approximately twice the image-generation allowance;
-
an optional “Image Boost” add-on for Plus;
-
or a new individual Creator tier positioned between Plus and Pro.
I do not need five times the Plus capacity or all of the additional features included with Pro. What I would need is simply enough additional image capacity to continue a creative session without repeatedly hitting the Plus limit and having to wait 10 to 12 hours, and even more since the restart often begins in the middle of the night for me ( like 01.30 AM tomorrow for me this time).
I suspect there is a substantial group of users in the same position: Plus is slightly too restrictive for image-heavy workflows, while Pro is far more capacity and expense than they need.
A tier around 2× Plus would fill that gap very naturally and would give existing Plus subscribers a much more realistic upgrade path.
I would happily pay more than Plus for that additional capacity, but the current jump directly from Plus to Pro is simply too large.
Thank you very much for your attention and consideration.
Michael
