I see the following error message, even if my usage is perfectly within limits. What is causing this?
RateLimitError: You exceeded your current quota, please check your plan and billing details. For more information on this error, read the docs: https://platform.openai.com/docs/guides/error-codes/api-errors.

Sometimes rate limit error just means you really just need to add more credit. I don’t think they really have a “low credit” or “out of credit” warning so the error is confusing. If you’re sure you have plenty of credit in your account, then you may have had your API key stolen/leaked (and some hacker is using it) so try generating a new API key, and check security on your server.
