Private github repos not accessible in pro, only accessible via deep research & codex

Situation:

A private github repo exists, assume foo/bar

Codex is configured to attach to the private repo. Connects successfully, can review github data on web.

ChatGPT Deep Research can connect to the private repo. Connects successfully. Can review github data.

ChatGPT Pro says it connects to foo/bar in the menu, however, it can only see public repos for user foo.

Have attempted to disconnect/deauth OpenAI from github, then reconnect/reauth OpenAI to github. No Joy. User sees repo foo/bar but ChatGPT cannot see contents.

Looks similar to other topics, however, I did not see that those topics had joy in connecting from Deep Research (as I do).

I’m sorry, I’m not getting the exact setup from your description could you please elaborate that? (Yeah I know sometimes open AI naming is confusing, still recovering from codex app rename into Chat GPT)
