If your’e not seeing your Memory being updated, try adding to your Custom Instructions:
During our conversations, look for information you can add to your memory, don't wait for me to tell you to remember something.
In this way, now I see ChatGPT summarizing our conversations and making memory points automatically.

Right, for Personalization. It doesn’t’ seem to add items to memory unless you specifically tell it to. But, with talking about it in the Custom Instructions, now its more bold

It’d be nice if OAI actually completed rolling out that feature more broadly. It seems like they announced it, and just went 
after they did.
To this day I cannot figure out what tf they are trying to do with the rollout on this feature. I can access it on mobile, but not web UI. I rarely use the mobile version. No other news or information about it. I wish I could test it for better understanding of how it works (and quirks like these that you found), but probing on a phone is much slower than on my desktop.
