Please Bring Back Manual Send

Hi OpenAI team,

Im running into a bug after the recent update to the voice-to-text feature in the ChatGPT Android app. Previously, I could record a voice message, see the transcribed text, edit it if needed, and then choose when to send it. That gave me full control and let me correct errors or review long messages.

Now, the message sends automatically as soon as I finish speaking. This has been incredibly frustrating, especially when there’s a transcription mistake. And, when the app says “Something went wrong" the entire message is gone. If I was talking for two or more minutes, that’s all lost with no way to recover it. There’s no option to retry, review, or save the transcription. It really disrupts the experience and adds anxiety to using voice input.

Please consider bringing back the option to review and edit voice-transcribed text before sending, or at least let users toggle that behavior in the settings. It used to work beautifully, and this change has made it significantly harder to use the app effectively. This bug is making me wish I never updated.

FINALLY someone who said it!
I hope they will listen to us and bring the feature back to how it was, now it is completely unusable.
