Feature Proposal: ChatGPT 999 India Plan 
I would like to suggest that OpenAI consider launching an India-specific ChatGPT 999 Plan at ₹999/month ($9.99) with more capabilities than Chatgpt Go for university students and working professionals with access to advanced models ; enhanced capabilities and better reasoning.
Proposed plan
- Price: ₹999/month ($9.99)
- Target users: Students, researchers, developers and working professionals
- Access: Advanced models and higher usage limits, along with features such as deep research, file analysis, image generation, coding and other advanced tools.
Why India?
India has a very large and rapidly growing ChatGPT user base. A lower-priced India-specific plan could make advanced AI accessible to a much larger number of users who may not subscribe to higher-priced plans.
Even at $9.99/month, the scale of India’s user base could create a significant recurring-revenue opportunity for OpenAI. The goal would not simply be to reduce prices, but to expand the number of paying users by making an advanced plan more accessible to the Indian market.
OpenAI could also use student verification through university credentials or institutional email addresses and support UPI and other India-friendly payment methods.
I believe a ChatGPT 999 India plan could benefit both sides: greater access to advanced AI for Indian students and professionals, while giving OpenAI an opportunity to expand its paid user base in one of the world’s largest AI markets.
