Paid ChatGPT Plus User Caught in June 25 False-Positive Ban Wave - Appeals Auto-Rejected, Requesting Human Review

Hello OpenAI Community Team and Moderators,

I am writing to request a manual review of my suspended ChatGPT Plus account. My account was caught in what appears to be the mass false-positive suspension wave on June 25, 2026.

Account Details:

  • Case: 11072384

  • Subscription: ChatGPT Plus (Active since July 2025)

  • Suspension Date: June 25, 2026

My Situation:
I have been a loyal, paying subscriber for nearly a year, using the service solely for academic research and programming support. I have never violated any of OpenAI’s Terms of Service.

  1. Initial Appeal Rejected: I submitted an appeal on June 26, but it was quickly rejected on July 1, likely by an automated system.

  2. Auto-Rejection Loop: Subsequent appeals have been met with instant, automated replies stating the original decision stands. I believe no human has reviewed my case.

This suspension has severely disrupted my work and I am unable to access critical data. I am confident this is a false positive.

Request:
I kindly request that a human from the Trust & Safety team manually review my account activity logs to confirm I am a genuine user. I am happy to provide any additional information needed.
