Subject: Request to Disable Autocomplete Suggestions in ChatGPT Windows App

I am a user of the ChatGPT Windows application and would like to request an option to disable the autocomplete suggestions that appear while typing. This feature often disrupts my workflow, especially when working on coding or detailed text input.
Could you please confirm if there is a way to disable autocomplete suggestions in the Windows app? If not, I would like to suggest adding this option in a future update.

I agree, even for the web app the UI jump is SO distracting, I mean who puts fade animation on auto-suggested content that changes with every letter the user types? A sane UI/UX should review this UX.
Just want to jump in here. Totally agree with you guys in this conversation. As soon as they added it, my eyes could not focus on what I was typing. My work around is to write my prompt in notepad, cut and paste to the chat window. I can get overwhelmed with stimuli easily so I try to live very zen. The forced autocomplete doesn’t help.
