I am coming up from Aus
If you’re registered for DevDay in San Francisco this Tuesday, there’s also a Discord server where verified attendees can connect and get to know each other ahead of the event.
I’ll be there too. Feel free to reach out!
Hi @ValenteM
I suggest to reach out to the moderators at the official OpenAI discord server. They should be able to help you directly.
Hi everyone, I applied for the OpenAI DevDay Exchange Bengaluru event on September 25, but my application is still showing as pending. Has anyone who applied around the same time received an approval or rejection email? Also, does anyone know if applications are still being reviewed? Thanks!
This event is community-driven by the local Codex Ambassador. So the Ambassador approves the requests. If you share the name you use in Luma, I can ask them to review your request. There’s no guarantee they will approve it, but I can at least highlight it.
Thank you for offering to help! My name is Mihir Oza, and I applied through the official OpenAI DevDay Exchange website on September 25 for the Bengaluru event on October 16.
I haven’t received any confirmation or status update since submitting the application. Could you please ask the local Codex Ambassador to check whether they can locate my application using my name?
I can share my email address privately if needed. I really appreciate your help!
They will start accepting requests in the upcoming weeks
Thanks for sharing ,We are coming in Berlin.
Hi everyone! I’ve been invited to OpenAI DevDay Exchange in Bengaluru, but I’m unable to complete registration because the Last Name field is mandatory. My official ID has only one name and no surname. I’ve already emailed the event contact but haven’t received a response yet, and the registration deadline is 13 October.
Has anyone faced this issue, or does anyone know how the event team handles single-name registrations? I’d really appreciate any help!
@proflead Hi! I’m Arnav Panicker (same name on Luma), on the waitlist for DevDay Exchange Bengaluru. I applied via the official OpenAI website. Could you flag my application to the ambassador? Happy to share my registered email privately. Thanks!
