I’ve been using Codex and I’m very satisfied with it. Codex is already an amazing tool, but there is one improvement that I think would make it even better.
I often use Codex CLI inside VS Code. The Codex app is also great, of course, but when I use the CLI in VS Code, I can’t paste an image directly from my clipboard into the chat.
Currently, I have to save or copy the image into my project folder first, and then manually provide the image’s file path to Codex. This adds an unnecessary extra step to the workflow.
It would be really helpful if Codex CLI supported directly pasting or attaching images from the clipboard, similar to the Codex app.
Thank you for creating such a great tool. I hope this feature can be considered in a future update!
