Hello OpenAI team,
I am currently using the Codex VSCode extension and greatly enjoying it. I especially appreciate how Codex integrates into my workflow, and I am interested in developing another VSCode extension that can work in conjunction with it.
With that in mind, I would be very grateful if you could consider adding the following functionality:
- Codex: Input message — Insert a given string (or the selected text) into the Codex Chat input field.
- Codex: Start chat — Begin an interaction in Codex Chat.
I believe having commands like these would make it easier for other developers to build extensions that integrate with the Codex VSCode extension, which in turn could encourage a more vibrant ecosystem around it.
