When I check the model comparison table, it shows that o1-mini is available for the new Responses API.
However, when I make a call using the Responses API, I get this error:
The requested model ‘o1-mini’ is not supported with the Responses API. (Code: model_not_found)
Is this a documentation mistake, a rollout delay, or something else?
Anyone else facing the same issue?
I think it is a mistake in the docs.
Playground confirms that it is not available in responses API.
thx! I didn’t know we could test them in the Playground. Seems like it’s not just o1-mini, there are other models too that aren’t available in the new API, even though the documentation says they are.
