I have a published, approved app. In the live version there is one starter prompt with
a screenshot attached. I wasn’t happy with the screenshot’s dimensions, so I created a
draft to submit a new version with a replacement image (and an additional prompt).
The problem: in the Prompts step there is a field to add a prompt, but there is no field
to add a screenshot anywhere.
- The existing prompt only offers “Remove screenshot” — there is no way to replace the
image with a new one. - Newly added prompts have no “Add screenshot” control at all: no upload button, no
drag-and-drop area, and no file input in the page (I inspected the DOM to confirm). - I deleted the new prompt and re-added it from scratch, and reloaded the page — the
control still never appears.
At the same time the form blocks me with this validation error:
“Add a screenshot for every prompt or remove all screenshots.”
So the form demands a screenshot for every prompt while providing no way to upload one.
Has anyone run into this? How are you supposed to add a new screenshot (and a screenshot
for a newly added prompt) in the current submission form? Is the upload control gated
behind something, or is this a bug?
