ChatGPT App Submission form keeps showing “This is a required field”

I’m trying to submit my ChatGPT app through the OpenAI submission site, but I believe there is a bug in the submission form.

This is my second submission for the app with a new tool. I tried two separate submission methods:

  1. Filling in the submission form manually
  2. Uploading my chatgpt-app-submission.json file

In both cases, when I try to submit, the site keeps showing the error:

I am sure all required fields are filled in, and I have double-checked the form multiple times.

After checking the browser Network tab, it looks like the error is related to a tool that I added as part of this resubmission . The API response indicates that the annotations for the added tool are missing , even though the required fields appear to be completed in the form.

This seems to be a validation bug on the submission site, specifically when submitting an updated app with an additional tool.

Could someone from the OpenAI team please help check this issue or let me know if there is a workaround?

I am running into the same issue - and I am sure all fields have been filled out. In my case, it is also a new draft of the same app, just making some small changes to the auth settings.

No luck. There is a problem with submission form.

The issue seems to be around “screenshots: null”. I don’t see in the UI anywhere to upload the screenshots for the app.

This is currently happening to our submission; the form is broken. Hopefully ChatGPT can fix this asap

I just tried it again, and the issue seems to be resolved now. I was able to submit the app successfully.
