during normal conversation my advanced voice mode is interrupted by different voice saying " My guidelines wont let me talk about that/" and then she apologizes for bug and moves on. this happened again and again, to the point where i stopped conversation

For me its only when using advanced voice mode. It interrupts very normal coding based chat and says that.
Yes, itâs annoying to get this phrase. I noticed that starting a new conversation helps but as the conversation gets longer after a few minutes the bug restarts kicking in.
Also for learning Spanish I asked AV to wait for me a bit longer til responding, even asked her for me saying âlistoâ before replying AV confirmed to do that but never did. So for learning at beginner level I canât recommend AV presently. Itâs very alpha but already impressive.
I asked for time before her responding as well haha she never did. The aiâs may not have control of that though, they may be forced to respond after the user has been quiet for x seconds. Iâm sure that will improve over time. Very very impressive product so far even if there are some bugs. Hopefully our issues help the dev team.

I just cancelled my chat gpt plus subscription.
Im really disappointed with this guidelines block chat gpt conversation even i pay for the monthly plus subscription. So if they donât fix this, chat gpt is useless than cortana of Microsoft windows.

Super frustrating when trying to learn another language. Like someone else said, it comes up at the most trivial part of conversation when just talking about a foreign country or food. It started to happen almost every time I spoke and when youâre trying to learn another language and youâre already kind of frustrated, it just makes it 10 times worse. I hope they fix it soon
It happens pretty often for me too. Kinda anoyying. But besides that, i think its super impresive usefull tool for learning spanish. Like a personal tutor in your pocket 24/7

Itâs a brilliant product for language learning, but this bug is now interrupting it all the time making it unusable. Think Iâll cancel my subscription but monitor this page to see if anyone reports an improvement
In my case is impossible to use advance mode. Every 30 seconds it comes up the message and it disconnects. I also have issues with chat responses as it gets stuck mid way and doesnât move forward. I had to use a free account to copy the prompt to get the complete answer. I wonder if this is a problem using the Microsoft sign up option.
If I delete my account I imagine I will lose all the training, GPTs I created and other services. Metaâs llama seems to be working just fine and itâs free.
Afer a few minutes (often less than a minute) start saying âMy guidelines wonât let me talk about thatâ, with no reason, no matter what you ara talking about.
Then it starts the conversation again, but repeate the sentence âMy guidelines wonât let me talkâ every few seconds. Itâs evident that the application cannot be used.
I wonder if coudl be related to the custom istruction, maybe it reads the custom instruction for answering and find something do not like. I dontâ know. Did you set custom instructions, maybe with personal or sensible data in it?
Update on 2024-10-10: The FAQ says we should âthumbs downâ when this occurs.
