I am not sure whether this is a bug, but my account is unable to to upgrade to Pro. My understanding is that Pro is available to US users only. I am American, and my billing is American, however I signed up in South Korea with a SK phone number and currently regularly login using a VPN because ChatGPT is banned in the country I am in.
I notice that I am unable to change the phone number associated with my account. I also notice that if I delete my account, I cannot use my email again to create a new account, which is excessively inconvenient.
Does anyone know what options I might have to upgrade to Pro right now besides creating an entirely new account using a US phone number and IP address? My account is a team account I share with my staff so switching now to a new email would be cumbersome.
