We started receiving Model not found o4m-sonic-o-api-ev3 error on 26 March 2026 14:30 UTC. We constantly got this error for GPT-4o and GPT-4.1 models with web search tool. We checked the OpenAI Status but could not see any issue that describes this one.
Have you guys ever encountered an error like this before?

Got it today too, and I have a Agent Builder gpt4.1 with web tools enabled.
Very, very strange message, with no further information in the logs.
Fingers crossed it doesnt happen again.
Sorry for the late reply! GPT-4.1 web search is documented here: https://developers.openai.com/api/docs/guides/tools-web-search. We haven’t confirmed what caused that error.
