Hi OpenAI team,
I’ve noticed that voice chat conversations with ChatGPT are not saved or accessible in the conversation history. This represents a real loss of value, especially when insightful or creative ideas come up during spoken interactions.
Many users explore complex topics via voice whether brainstorming, solving problems, or learning something new. Without a way to revisit these exchanges, it’s easy to forget or lose important insights.
It would be much better to include voice chat sessions in a dedicated “Voice History” section.
The current behavior where voice sessions disappear feels like a step backward in terms of continuity, memory, and usefulness.
Thanks for considering this improvement. ChatGPT is an amazing tool, and preserving all forms of interaction would make it even stronger.
Best,
Sam
