It seems openai allows OpenClaw users to sign with ChatGPT and use their subscription there: https://x.com/sama/status/2050357911915028689

I also want to implement this in my app but I can’t find the official docs in how to do it.

I’m wary of taking direction from a third party org that is affiliated but is not OpenAI

Having a post from the CEO about OpenClaw is really nice though.

However, I’m interested in my own agent.

In case it helps, Opencode appears to have native Codex/ChatGPT subscription OAuth, not only a third-party plugin.

But that’s also something to improve the docs. I’ll pass it along.

Oh well, maybe I’ll implement “for testing purposes” given it appears more widespread in anticipation of a more formal permission.
