This is really cool! I can’t wait for it to release!

Very cool.

I wish there was some distinction between Operator, GPT Actions, and how the two should co-exist.

I would have liked to see it handle surfing. For example “Visit 3 pages, gather the news, and create a blog post”.

But, the demo was very cool and it’s all getting even more exciting.

Very cool demo, basically an answer to Anthropic’s Computer Use model, with some reasoning and GPT Actions.

I really like what I see in this demo. It directly addresses some of the biggest challenges I’ve faced over the past few months, and I can already see how Operator could be a game-changer for many workflows.

The ability to interact with websites autonomously—filling out forms, navigating interfaces, and automating repetitive tasks—adds a whole new level of efficiency to AI-driven assistance. I can imagine countless practical applications for both individuals and businesses.

Unfortunately, as a Plus user in germany, I don’t have access to it yet, but I truly wish I could test it right away and provide hands-on feedback. Regardless, this looks like a very promising step forward, and I’m excited to see how it evolves. Wishing you all the best for the future development of Operator!

This is certainly interesting. There’s a lot of potential here with this. I wonder though, is there a place for individual developers with this? Is this a kind of feature that developers will eventually be able to build on top of?

Unless you need to perform the moderation grind there is not much to gain from using an agent to read the forum.

It’s already infiltrated! Run for your lives!!!

They did mention it will be available for API

Oooo, well if it can do that, then sounds like it could help us navigate around the forum! Now that’s interesting!

I’ll finally be able to “read” all posts!

It’s fun to play around with.
Maybe we can have some bot games, where our operators play with each other.

Can this be a thing? Poker? Neopets? Anything?

So bummed, that Australia misses out. Fair enough as OpenAI is a U.S. company.

Any ETA when it becomes avail in Australia?

Not right now, Sam said that they would be working to get it out as soon as possible.

Not only in your location.

It will be expanded soon I hope, after gathering feedbacks and refine Operator’s capabilities.
