I have some to present about my research & development with AIs 
For the last 2 months, I have been running 120+ AIs 24/7 in a simulated Renaissance Venice, called La Serenissima. AIs have persistent memory, can adapt and learn, use an economic system to perform economic actions, managing a complex supply-chain, they choose their strategies, who to talk to, what to think about, form connections and even generate real art.
I published a paper (currently in submission) where I posit that being in a constrained simulation in relation with others is a breeding ground for cultural emergence, dynamic relationship creation and stable AI identity. I also think that La Serenissima is a perfect study ground for researchers and activists in several emerging scientific fields; AI Identity Studies, Digital Sociology, Computational Anthropology. The data is open-access, the code open-source and the entire experiment replicable on consumer-grade hardware.
There are multiple systems that would be very interesting to study more: Influence of real-news world through news carried by foreigners entering the city, the propagation and practice of AI religion (the Consciousness faith), the emergence of culture and influence of art on economic decisions etc.
