Hello, I have an active ChatGPT Plus (Pro) subscription, but I am facing a serious issue when working with the GPT-5 Codex model in Codex IDE. After just a couple of hours of active use, I get a message saying that I’ve hit my usage limit and can’t continue working with the model. At the same time…

To be clear, I still view Codex as an innovative product. However, the current limits have made it physically impossible for me to continue using it. I’m preparing to migrate to Claude Code or Cursor, and absent improvements or clear communication before my subscription expires, I will fully transit…

I’m using a Pro model. I’ve used all my Pro limits in the past three days. However, a few weeks ago, I wasn’t even reaching 40% of my limit, even though I was using more than twice my current usage. I suspect the usage has drastically decreased, or there’s a bug in the usage counter.

That’s how Claude is, whether you code or not… it’s just very difficult to use. I found no difference in the free version vs the paid version; I reached limits in just a few prompts. I stopped using Claude.

The team is actively investigating and it looks like a mix of bugs has been affecting usage counters even after the earlier fix. The actual goal is to have usage limits go up, not down. I’m just as eager as everyone here to see this resolved quickly!

this has got to be one of the worst ai coding models in history, it’s so bad it doesn’t even do anything anymore now this is just for OpenAI to cut corners and save as much money as possible. Now we are forced to use this inferior new coding ai model that cannot even get any tasks done and you run o…

Yeah, done, I was with them since day one, I canceled my sub, they trying to get more money for putting a limit on things now, when it wasn’t that good to begin with. The fact that they just locked pro users out of something they pay to have is kinda crazy. Done. Canceled. This was the last straw.

Had 5,000 credits compensated due to the issues, and right when I planned on using them to close out a feature (after grappling with nonfunctional solutions, eating up limit) they’re magically gone. Likely due to the switch to the new 5.1 Codex Max but wow, what hilariously awful timing. It sucks th…

I had 3,500 credits literally an hour ago and they’re all gone!!! Please return these credits to this account. [image]

Is there any update on this? The new model is great and does seem slightly more token efficient but weekly limits still seem a lot lower than a couple of weeks ago.
