Is upgrading to version 4.0 through the “chatgpt for google” IE plugin synchronized with upgrading my ChatGPT account to 4.0 as well? Is “chatgpt for google” secure? Are the features after upgrading purchased in real-time synchronized with my ChatGPT?
Browser plugins and extensions that want your money are likely scams, and at best, are not affiliated with OpenAI.
The only place to upgrade a ChatGPT account to Plus is the same place you interact with it: chat.openai.com
Also consider the danger that you might have been fooled into putting OpenAI account credentials into an unknown extension.
