I tried the Codex-Free plan today and it has a monthly limit. How does that relate to the 5-hour limit and the weekly limit on a Plus account?
For example, I was able to use the Free plan for about half an hour before reaching the limit. How much more usage does the 5-hour limit on Plus provide? Is it possible to estimate this?

I know this page, but it does not say anything about message count on Free and about weekly limits, just that theay can be applied too.
depends on a lot of variable: reasoning level, speed, the prompt / task at hand, MCPs, agent.md, etc etc etc
But from my experience I have almost never hit the limits. I have never actully hit the weekly limit. And I hit the 5 hour limit once but only had to wait maybe an hour til it reset. plus you can just top up anyways.
The allowances for free accounts vary, ranging from $10 to $30. Plus has $90 a week
