The recent update to Version 26.831.21537 for desktop has wiped my projects on Codex. At this point I have no idea if project folder guardrails are intact or broken but I also cannot access all of my threads because recents only holds 50! That prevents me from working let alone the fact that Projects are gone. Who is responsible for the disaster? Who is going to fix it? When will it be fixed? I don’t care if my data is secure on my Computer - that is not the issue. The issue is that OpenAI pushed an update that caused this and I am sitting waiting while I learn what happens next. I need to work but I do not think we paying subscribers should have to fix this even if we can. Open AI needs to own it, fix it and add the ability to prevent auto updates. Pushing changes like this that break things is intolerable.
