I just purchased Pro hoping to do SORA-it is not even allowing me to create account in SORA- what to do- I have no use for Pro $200 account unless I can do sora

Since SORA was just released, a huge number of people are trying to create accounts at the same time, causing delays due to heavy traffic.
I had a similar experience, after trying every 5 minutes, I was able to create an account after about 40 minutes.
Hang in there and keep trying; it should work soon!

if their servers are stressed due to so many people signing up, stopping people from signing up temporarily is perfectly reasonable…

I pay 200 monthly I can not enter and I agree with you I am a designer and a developer I know how this is, is better to not allow than stress the site and the whole site to down. They are experiencing things that have never experienced before. We are knowing there weakness.

They should keep spots available for people who paid $200 a month to support OpenAI. Not doing so while not openly offering credit for time wasted is an underhanded tactic which should not be commonplace or simply accepted in any industry. Also, a $157 billion dollar-valued company partly owned and wholly hosted by the 2nd largest cloud computing provider on Earth should not have excuses for doing otherwise.

Same here. I’m completely upset on paying $200 just to use that service as advertised on their subscription page, and can’t use it.
I can afford to lose $200, but I would be so upset that I would never pay anything from OpenAI again if they don’t address this soon.

I was able to sign up in the EU at 00:48 UTC on 12/11 in case anyone else is looking for an ideal time. It wasn’t the best release strategy, but I hope OpenAI can do a better job at providing timely access to new products to paying customers going forward.
