How To Access OpenAi's ChatGPT Code Interpreter Beta

On the https://help.openai.com/en/articles/6825453-chatgpt-release-notes
it says
Code interpreter is now rolling out in beta on web (July 6, 2023)
We’re rolling out code interpreter to all ChatGPT Plus users over the next week.

It lets ChatGPT run code, optionally with access to files you’ve uploaded. You can ask ChatGPT to analyze data, create charts, edit files, perform math, etc.

We’ll be making these features accessible to Plus users on the web via the beta panel in your settings over the course of the next week.

To enable code interpreter:

Click on your name

Select beta features from your settings

Toggle on the beta features you’d like to try

Where is there a page that will allow me to:
Click on your name
Select beta features from your settings.
I have never seen a gpt4 page that has a ‘settings’ option . How can I get there ?
Ie. , how can I try out beta versions .

It is now called “advanced data analysis”, and will be one of the dropdown options when you use the top model selection icons on a new conversation.

Hello vmars316,

I noticed you were looking for the “Advanced Data Analysis” feature. The UI has had some updates and it can be a bit tricky to find things if you haven’t been using it for a while, or even just missed it in the options. Here’s a guide to help you out:

  1. Click on the ‘…’ icon located at the bottom left of the ChatGPT screen.

  2. From the slide-up menu, select “Settings & Beta”.
    LeftOfMailAddress

  3. Within settings, turn on the toggle for “Advanced Data Analysis”.

  1. When starting a new conversation, choose “Advanced Data Analysis” from the model selection dropdown.

Hope this helps you get started with the code interpreter feature!
