I have created an openai api key but its response time is not upto the mark. How can I sign SLAs and BAAs with openai and what is the procedure to acquire enterprise api?

thanks for responding. I’m more focused on API usage rather than ChatGPT. The pricing plans and Usage tiers you shared, are more focused on ChatGPT.
I remember when first learning about these things myself, it was very confusing. As such you are including a few different concepts and using the terminology wrong which makes it hard to extract a comprehensible question from what you post.
Is your question about using an API to get faster response time? higher quotas with the API such as tokens and request per minute? something else?

Yes, my question is more focused on API response time optimization. I have tried Pay-as-you-go option but response time is not consistent. For some random requests, it just increases a lot.
That is a good question that often comes up.
You are correct that if you are an Enterprise customer you get better response time but unless you have $108,000 up front to buy the 150 seats * 12 months per seat * $60 per seat (last time hard numbers were posted) for that you are out of luck.
From the information published, only the Enterprise customers get a better response time, I know of no other way to get a better response time as a general user.
If OpenAI was open with the model weights on Hugging Face or such then you could set up your own private LLM, but I do not see GPT4 being public for sometime, if GPT3 became public in a year or less that would not surprise me, but would GPT3 be of value by then?
Then how do I become an Enterprise Customer? Are there any pre-requisites to be one?

I would note that while you were directed to them noting the better performance as an Enterprise customer, do ask about options for just better performance so that you might not need to become an Enterprise customer. The worse they can say is no.
