Has this happened to anyone else? If yes, how did you resolve it?

Today I woke up with my account blocked, despite March 31st, the billing date for the account, not having arrived. When I went to check my account it was in the negative, I didn’t understand why because I was within the spending limit for the month.
When I went to make the payment, the system didn’t accept it for some reason and just blocked it from making any more transactions, showing the message that “you have exceeded the attempt limit, please wait a while”
It turns out that it was 10am in Brazil and now it’s 3pm and they haven’t allowed me to make the payment.
My clients depend on the API and I’m losing money with the blocked API. I opened numerous tickets and nothing was done, just automatic messages. We are all nervous about this problem.

I tried credit cards, debit cards, prepaid. of all types, there is no problem at the bank and everyone denied OPEN AI.
How to proceed?

I can’t wait a week to try again. I’ve tried on other devices, I’ve tried on another wifi and I wasn’t successful.
I am extremely saddened by the support that open ai is giving us.

What’s the problem? They’re saying they won’t charge you again right?

The best guess I have (not being an OpenAI employee myself) is that maybe your API key got leaked/hacked. I’d try to setup a new account somehow, because all you need is the API key. You always use the moderation API before submitting requests right? I’ve been told any “customer entered” prompts need to be run thru the moderation first or else OpenAI will hold the company accountable for any “immoral” requests that can be done by customers.
