Has anyone automated their customer service? How much has it reduced your team's workload?

I’ve been looking into different ways to improve our customer support efficiency, and the idea of automating certain tasks keeps coming up. We’ve been struggling with handling routine inquiries, which takes up a lot of my team’s time. I’ve heard that AI chatbots can be a great solution, especially for 24/7 support, but I’m curious to hear real-life experiences.

For those who have automated their support using chatbots or other tools, did it make a big difference in reducing your team’s workload? How did your customers react to the automation? I’m particularly interested in knowing how chatbots manage common inquiries, and whether they’re actually helpful in giving your team more time to focus on complex customer issues.

Interested in seeing how you guys using it because I’m about to build something similar in the vacation rentals industry, so if you guys are open would love to share some insights.

Hi @isabellamarie !

One of the more famous PR stories in relation to customer support efficiency with AI, is Klarna’s implementation of customer service system using OpenAI APIs. They actually use other models under the hood as well for availability reasons (if the API from one vendor is down, the other one takes over). The article is light on details, but DM me if interested, and I can connect you with the right folks.

look into how openai does their own costumer service, it is a great example to follow
