Hello–since yesterday I’d been running into some sort of bug saying that chatgpt “detected unusual activity” on my account, and it wouldn’t let me ask questions, etc. That problem seems to be gone, but now I’m running into a new problem where all my chats are named “new chat” and are written completely in Chinese. I had a subscription, but I since cancelled it because I worry I’ve been hacked. I’ve changed my password, deleted cookies and cache, and did everything I’ve seen recommended on the forum.
I also reached out to support. They responded at first about my original issue, but since I tried asking about this one I haven’t received any responses. I’m just a bit worried, I’ve seen some discussion about similar issues on this forum but I still wanted to ask because like I said–a little scared here!
This happened to me as well. I even have a “Chinese instance” in my left hand nav. Open AI disabled my account a day or so after all the Chinese chats started showing up (I’d been working with GPT and customer service about it), saying that I had abused terms of service. No other information. I worked for a couple of days sending customer service emails and then they reinstated me (but all the Chinese stuff was still there). I changed passwords, deleted all history. I can use it now but the Chinese instances are still there. It’s creepy.
