Hi OpenAI developers,
I have a couple of related feature requests for the desktop and browser GUI:
- timestampes for inputs and responses
- date stamps for chats in the the left-side panel
My scenario: I often have very long sessions that can run over days and weeks that I refer to, and pick up again later when relevant, like bug fixing a server script, that needs some to time to bed in before review the logs.
It would be super helpful to have the sessions inputs and responses timestamped so I can quickly scan through the session, and find a post from ‘x’ date. An enhancement would be something similar what already exists for the session list in the left panel, where the sessions are grouped under ‘today’, ‘yesterday’, ‘prveious 7 days’, etc… having some visual breakpoints between inputs and responses in the main session body when the date of the interaction occured.
A secondary feature request, is an enhancement to the current left-panel sessions listing. Automatically add a created date stamp to the title - whilst this can be acieved by renaming the session, having system generated date would be great.
