Just wonder if this is expected? As I’ve been using 5.3 Codex even after 5.4 and 5.5 got released. I personally find it gives me the best outcome, for me even better experience than gpt 5.5. If expected, are we going to get any more codex models or going forward only generic gpt models only?

To switch to API usage, log out of the IDE extension or CLI, then log back in with an API key. The newer generation of models works very well with lower reasoning settings, so it is definitely worth trying.
