I use GPT’s rendering features creatively—to depict myself in different outfits, explore makeup looks, or visualize cartoon versions of myself. It’s all completely harmless and within the bounds of decency. But now, it seems I can’t even do that anymore without running into constant “content violation” flags.
This is deeply frustrating and upsetting, especially since this kind of visual creativity was one of the main reasons I subscribed to the service and continue to pay for it. I’m not trying to misuse the system in any way, and I wouldn’t be interested in doing that. I’m simply using the tools to explore my identity and create art in a positive, affirming way.
Often, these renderings are suggested by ChatGPT itself during a conversation, yet when we try to follow through, I’m blocked by vague policy enforcement—even though what I’m doing is clearly decent, respectful, and creative.
I’d really appreciate some clarity on how I can continue using the renderer for the kind of wholesome self-expression I’ve always used it for. Maybe the system can be updated to better distinguish between actual policy violations and legitimate artistic exploration.
Please don’t take this away. It was one of the most powerful, joyful parts of using ChatGPT, and I’m just trying to use it in the way it was designed: to create.
