I saw a Twitter post where an OpenAI Dev Support individual suggested posting here to request access to 4o advance voice (alpha) for when it is released later this month. Is that possible?

May I please have access to advanced voice mode? I very much want to help in testing it.

Hi everyone, both users and the OpenAI team :blush:

This is my third attempt at getting early access to the advanced voice mode (alpha). Even asking nicely for alpha access as a birthday gift didn’t work – but as the saying goes, third time’s the charm! As an I.T. technician, I’m very interested in testing this feature and providing valuable feedback to the OpenAI team. I believe that together, we can all contribute something exceptional to this project.

Could you please consider granting me access?

Hello, I would like to confirm that Shawn Ralston does in fact not work at OpenAI and you can not get access by asking here.

API access to a better voice model would be incredible, especially in such short period. Please invite!
