GPT-4 API access revoked for no reason and without notice?

We have built a GPT-4 based solution for our client and they are running it in production. It has been working for months since April, but recently the API started to reply like this: “The model gpt-4 does not exist or you do not have access to it”. The account doesn’t have access to GPT-4 anymore.

My client is suffering because their product is down. GPT-3.5 is not smart enough for their usecase, GPT-4 is necessary. No notice has been made to them nor to me nor to anyone actually. Zero reasoning behind it. Talking to support doesn’t help because the bot is not smart enough to understand the problem, and apparently there are no humans to talk to.

Has anyone faced such issues lately?

Hopefully it is a transient issue while GPT-4 API access is opened to new developers.
As this seems to be an account issue and not a technical one you should use and use the support bot in the bottom right corner, from there you can select your issue and leave your contact details.
