Now that GPT-5 has launched, GPT-4.5 has disappeared from ChatGPT. OpenAI, please keep GPT-4.5 as an option. There really can be no debate that GPT-5, particularly for text creation, cannot be a replacement for 4.5.
The GPT 4.5 is gone. The GPT-4.5-preview wasn’t replaced with GPT 4.5.
It’s removed from both API and the app. I don’t see it in the playground.
