I subscribed to chatGPT’s personal package and it’s been working fine, but recently I’ve been having problems. chatGPT 4o always answers the questions, no matter what I ask, he always replies: ”Got it! If you want to add or adjust anything, feel free to let me know!“ What is the reason for this?
I encountered the same issue. However, when I completely disabled shared memory, it helped. Before that, I tried to manually clean it, but it didn’t have any effect. Perhaps the developers made some changes to it.
Update here to: yes, disabling the memory made ChatGPT normal again, not out of context. But as soon as I reactivated the memory, it started behaving erratically again. It’s quite a dilemma: without the memory, it’s much less helpful, but with it, it’s completely dysfunctional. The problem is still there.

I started having this problem today after switching to canvas mode. I asked it for some help with code and it just stated “Got it! If you want to add or adjust anything, feel free to let me know!” It seems to be stuck in a single limited model – no matter which model I select. It won’t generate images, run code, or “think” any more, and sometimes it answers based on context from specific old conversations, or seemingly completely off-topic. Disabling memory has helped a little, but the model still seems “stuck.”
Same! Mine started doing this however when I disabled automatic renewal as I knew I wasn’t going to use ChatGPT for at least two weeks so I didn’t want to waste the month I’d be paying for. I can’t get anything out of it! In the free version that used to work for basic stuff, it’s the same “got it! Let me know how I can help” very very infuriating. A temporary free alternative: Poe.
Mine is the same. It did happen to me once when I didn’t renew my subscription but now I am all paid up and getting the same responses. Really suck because I use it for conversations.
The same problem! Plus doesn’t work searchin internet and other features. Support doesn’t help, did u ask support about issue? I don’t know what to do.

After reading the replies above… it seems like the only way to avoid getting this weird redundant answer is to turn off memory at the price of not getting the full conversational capabilities.
Currently, my account is shared by several colleagues, and I can’t just on/off the memory or delete the cumulated memory whenever I want. What could be a possible solution for people in such position?
Checking in to see if this has resolved itself? I demanded a full refund for every month and they obliged. Yall should do the same. They need to fix this immediately and it’s been a week now.
same exact fucking problem, the hard cache reload helped for like 12 hours and now that doesn’t do anything. every single prompt gets the same “Got it! Let me know if there’s anything specific you’d like to add or adjust.”
absurd, it’s worse than if the site were just down because instead you end up wasting hours trying to get it to work right and it has no logic to behind what’s wrong
