Recently, when I was using chatgpt, no matter what I asked, it always answered: Got it! Let me know if you need anything else.
This situation has never happened before, but it has happened many times in the past month, almost every day.
Even if I switch to any model, the answer is the same. Only when I use my custom GPT does the answer become normal. Is there something wrong with my instructions? But no matter which model I switch to, it is the same.
This time I encountered this problem, my question was:
Query the following experimental test indicators of patients in the MIMIC IV database:
Neutrophil percentage
PCT (procalcitonin)
IL-6
ALT
AST
BUN
Cr
chatgpt answers: Got it! Let me know if you need anything else.
Had a similar experience yesterday when asking for some code changes using the canvas. It would keep repeating that the code had been updated but it actually never did anything.
I blamed it on the canvas implementation but maybe it is another type of error?
For others reading this topic, I know @vb knows this.
For those of us that read the forum posts regularly, there are definite patterns of the models being reported with coherent replies, then over time becoming less coherent for various reasons. I do think OpenAI is aware of this and knows the reasons, but it is something that needs to be done to move forward for the better. Personally, I have come to expect these times of less coherence and just wait for the next step forward.
Same issue here, and its getting worse. Its completely unable to handle my questions, and every time it fails, it seems to get more stupid somehow. Feels like it went from phd to 10 year old. At this point maybe new account is the only option
yeah me too. Just started the past few days. I thought possibly my payment had an issue but nope. I had that problem when my payment didn’t go through it would give me that same answer. Now not sure why. Very hard to have a conversation and I use ChatGPT as a conversational tool as well.
I Have the same dumb problem, no matter what piece of code I send to ChatGPT, i always get back:

yes very helpful, for what do I actually pay money here, OpenAI seems to release untested trash.
One solution that worked for me is to simply delete all chats and everything ChatGPT has remembered. In the Top left corner simply click on your profile icon, go to settings and click all the red buttons to delete chats and things ChatGPT has remembered…
