i use often the chat gpt app on windows because of the shortcut alt+space so its very easy and fast to close and open the ChatGPT but i cant do a fullscreen

Yeah makes 0 sense that this isn’t the case already.
I just notice that this feature was removed. I was able to make the app full screen before the last update.

I found some workaround that seems to work - try opening it as administrator and then the maximize option is enabled.
It was there but they removed it for no apparent reason, super frustrating

This works and by locating the executable file, you can set it to always run as administrator. Right click on the .exe file, select “Shore more options” > Select the Compatibility tab > Check the box to “Run as Administrator” and click “Apply” then “Ok”.
For those searching like me, default location:
“C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Microsoft\WindowsApps\OpenAI.ChatGPT-Desktop_2p2nqsd0c76g0\chatgpt.exe”
“OpenAI.ChatGPT-Desktop_2p2nqsd0c76g0”
This folder will likely slightly differ in name for different people.
