It shows the credits expired in July 2023, but still shows 18$ limits in July 2024.
But when I make an API call, it says “You exceeded your current quota, please check your plan and billing details”
Why is the discrepancy ? It is not clear, whether I can make any API call with my current plan or not ?

Indeed, all your free credits have expired. The USD 18 limit was just set by default. It is not indicative of the active funds/API credits you have available. In order to start using the API again, you need to add a minimum of USD 5 to your developer account. You can do that under Settings > Organization > Billing.
