This could attract more users while also generating more revenue.”
I would rather see them keep pricing the same, but make 4o spectacular. It’s a very nice model and it deserves more power. I think it would benefit tremendously from even limited reasoning compute. OpenAI is facing very stiff competition from more and more services. Chat is a big pillar for them and making it the best all-round chatbot, in my opinion, would be the right move.
