I use ChatGPT Projects regularly and find them very useful for organizing conversations by topic and, just as importantly, for giving ChatGPT a clearer context in which to understand my questions.
As a Project grows, however, the number of conversations can become large enough that the Project itself needs another level of organization.
I would find it very useful to have subfolders inside a Project.
For example, a Project covering one broad area could contain subfolders such as:

Targeted advertising

Progress and humanity
-
Life journey
-
Solitude and reciprocity
-
General
Each subfolder could then contain the conversations related to that specific topic.
A General folder would also be useful for conversations that begin as isolated subjects. If one of them later develops into a larger topic, it could simply be moved into a dedicated subfolder.
For me, this would not be an aesthetic improvement but a functional organizational tool.
The structure would become:
ChatGPT → Project → Thematic subfolder → Conversation
This would make large Projects easier to navigate and maintain over time, especially for users who accumulate many conversations around the same broad subject.
I also see a potential benefit for the AI itself. When a user places a conversation inside a specific Project and subfolder, they are providing useful contextual information: this question belongs to this particular subject. Whether or not this could technically be used by ChatGPT, the principle is the same for humans and AI: a more precise context helps avoid ambiguity.
This is only a suggestion for a future usability improvement — not an urgent request or a support issue.
I am already very satisfied with Projects and, more broadly, with how useful AI has become in my own work. This suggestion simply comes from using the existing feature and seeing how it could remain efficient as a Project grows.
I believe users can also contribute to the development of these tools by sharing practical feedback from real-world use. This is my small contribution as one user among many.
