Hello OpenAI team,
Would it be possible to introduce an option to permanently select and pin specific plugins within a single ChatGPT conversation?
Currently, users have to manually select the same plugins again for every new prompt. This becomes frustrating and inconvenient, especially during long conversations involving complex projects.
My suggestion is to allow users to:
1. Select two or more plugins and keep them active throughout the entire conversation.
2. Use those plugins without having to manually select them again for every prompt.
3. See a clear notification or indicator whenever a plugin has actually been executed.
4. Verify which plugins were used for each response, rather than relying solely on ChatGPT claiming that it used them.
For example, when working on a web development project, I would like to select two specialized plugins once and continue using them throughout the conversation.
The most important part is transparency: users should be able to distinguish between a plugin being selected and a plugin actually being executed.
This would make working with plugins much more convenient, efficient, and trustworthy.
Is OpenAI considering introducing such a feature?
