AI music is becoming a very real and rapidly growing part of music creation, but ChatGPT could go much further than generating lyrics, ideas, and prompts. I’d love to see a more complete AI music-production environment, similar to an automated version of Cakewalk.
For example: upload raw vocals and have ChatGPT automatically tune/pitch-correct them, clean up noise, align vocals to a beat, adjust timing, add effects, mix/master tracks, separate stems, arrange sections, and export the finished project as WAV/MP3. Being able to upload an instrumental and vocals and have the AI actually produce, edit, mix, and render the song would make ChatGPT dramatically more useful for everyday musicians and creators.
AI music is already becoming mainstream, and giving users actual production tools—not just advice about how to use them—would be a huge step forward.
