I’m really excited about the new Projects feature in ChatGPT! I believe it could greatly benefit from a GitHub integration with read-only access.
This would allow Projects to:
- Directly analyze code from repositories without manual copy-pasting.
- Reference branches, commits, and diffs dynamically.
- Assist in debugging, code reviews, and documentation.
However, I believe it’s important to keep the integration secure by limiting it to read-only access. This avoids any accidental modifications to repositories, ensuring that GPT can assist without altering the code.
Is there any plan to add this kind of GitHub integration for Projects? I believe it could unlock a lot of potential for developers working on collaborative or personal coding projects.
